On to the state playoffs

This past Sunday, several players from the Clinton Township Clintondale football team joined us at Fletcher Field to plant shade trees.

Well, in my estimation, that now makes the Clintodale Dragons the blog’s home team. And our home team deserves a big round of applause tonight after going on the road and defeating Sterling Heights, 39-27.

Maurice Bushner (169), Michael Delano-Johnson (138) and Daniel Sawicki (100) all rushed for at least 100 yards. Delano-Johnson threw for one touchdown and ran for two more.

The Dragons completed the regular season with an 8-1 record and are headed for the Division 4 state playoffs beginning next weekend.

Go Dragons! Beat Marine City!

Michael and Friends of Fletcher Field,
Thank you for your support during this football season. This has been a fun season so far. We hope to keep it going for a few more weeks. The coaches, players, and the rest of the Clintondale Dragon community really appreciate all of your well wishes. Our 1st game in the state tournament will be this Friday, October 31, at 7:00 PM, at Clintondale HS. We will be playing Madison Heights Lamphere.

Go Dragons! Beat Lamphere (Sorry Austin)!
For the entire Happy Family, Go Green! Go White!, too. 35-21

Bob:

We had to wonder who would ever be able to keep up with our Lee Lee, and now we know. You've been a great role model for all of the young men you work with at Clintondale and Fletchers.

Thanks for your learned yet street-wise head, caring heart, and quick humor (pacman burgers;)

Go Dragons! Go Green!! Go White!!

See you Friday, Bob, likely in the second half -- after trick-or-treating with the kids.

Love you like a brother, man. Having you and Lee in our lives has been one of the many blessings that arose out of the work at the park.

Clintondale??? What class are they in? Doesn't anyone care about a small catholic school like Royal Oak Shrine Catholic.Catholic League & Prep Bowl Class C & D Champions! A perfect 10 and 0 going into this weeks game. It kind of reminds of H.N. Come on now how about a little press for them Shrine Knights? Or have we forgotten what cheering for a small Catholic school is like?
