Testimony
If I may share some truth! I heard the Word of God, back in June of 1985. Early Fathers Day morning. While driving eastbound on the old Davison Freeway. Near the end of the old section of the freeway, near the boarder of Highland Park and the eastside of Detroit, my hands went limp... My body slumped over... My soul Fell, Fell, Fell, Fell... Into Darkness, the Pit, Sheol, Death... I died.
Was pulled out of darkness. Back into my body. As I leaned back up, it was just in time to make the slight turn on the new section of Davison.
My spirit kept rising. As I was looking down, over the state of Michigan, Detroit had a very red glow over it. The strangest noise started blasting and I took off, going a trillion miles an hour, into the sky. Came up on four very powerful energys, lined up in front of me, from left to right.
The first, Good, two in the middle the last one, Evil. Good moved from in front of me, to my left side, looking down over me. All this other energy, surrounded us. This is when and where I heard the Word of God.
"You are a good man." "All men have purpose." "You have purpose." "White man help the black man." "Organize."
As I started to fall back, the energys fell behind me. The last one, Evil. Back, back, back, back in my body. Back driving the pick up truck on Davison. I turned around and looked out the back window, and the whole western sky was red..
Was a 27 year old, lost, hurt, angry, drunk, addict, living on the eastside of Detroit, back then. Left out a lot of what all happened that night, for it would take to long, to type it all out. Your friend Steven Johnston

I laughed out loud (very loud) when I first read Drew's title and I have enjoyed a laugh each time I think of it. BTW, I still support her as a welcome and viable candidate for election. Dillon, I have been a model of decorum on the News Forum. Yes, I am opinionated, but I have not made one personal attack, have not called one person on the forum a name, nor have I stooped to the level of those who bait me to do so.
I decided to change my ways and it has paid off in dividends. I challenge people in a civil manner, and I challenge them to support their claims without the name calling. Many can't do it, and their worldview collapses in stunning fashion.
Then there are those who choose to be civil, and we learn from each other. There is nothing wrong with be acidic, as long as it doesn't degrade the other person. Do I have nice things to say about Palin? No. But I don't call her names, other than "plain".
I'm having fun, and the "nice" approach seems to really get under the skin of some. Bummer for them, I guess.
Then of course there are those who I just shun. One of them participates here. I simply have no use for redundant condescension and dishonesty.
Speaking of "nice", what happened to this place? Just tonight there has been enough bad language to get the entire Wildebeest population in the world banned. Good grief, there are people who think this might be a place to discuss faith, and they walk right into the middle of an x-rated West Side Story. Nothing I ever said back in the day was quite this bad. But it is certainly entertaining!

Who can make war against the Beast?
In his book, Al-Imam al-Mahdi, Amini describes the signs of the coming of the Mahdi in great detail. The most glaringly "peaceful" detail? The launching of a global war to kill and/or subjugate Jews, Christians, and other "infidels" under Islamic rule of course:
"Those who persist in their disbelief and wickedness shall be killed by soldiers of the Mahdi. The only victorious government in the entire world will be that of Islam....Islam will be the religion of everyone....The Mahdi will offer the religion of Islam to the Jews and the Christians; if they accept it they will be spared, otherwise, they will be killed...."
This past August Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei gave a shout out to Muslim nations around the world and called on them to form a military confederacy to prepare for the imminent coming of Islam's Mahdi--"the awaited rightly guided one."
Khamenei, through his spokesman Ali Saeedi, specifically called on the nations of Turkey, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan and Afghanistan to join together with Iran in preparation for the Mahdi's soon coming.
The reason for uniting now, a report in Al Arabiya explained, is to fight Israel and the U.S.--seen as obstacles to the coming of the Mahdi and the age of Islamic "justice" and "peace" that would ensue.
"We have to train honest forces that can stop the obstacles that may hinder the coming of the Mahdi like the United States and Israel," Saeedi stated. Saeedi also emphasized that the Iranian revolutionary guard possessed a special religious authority to prepare the way for the Mahdi.
