Pistons this season? 41-41

Memphis - Not much anticipation of the NBA season on Beale Street, I'll tell you what. Pretty quiet. But that barbecue is tremendous! I predicted the Pistons would finish 8th in the East in today's NBA Preview section and, obviously, I'll stick by that. I say they'll get there with a 41-41 record. What do you all think?

Pistons win total

I think the Piston will be lucky to win 30 games if they insist on putting Wallace and Kwame in the starting lineup.

This team is tremendously flawed defensively, and spent the offseason beefing up the offence, so be who you are! Stuckey, Gordon, Hamilton, Tayshaun and Villanueva in the starting 5. Run it; sure, we'll lose 125-120 on many nights, but at least we'll be entertaining, and it gives the Pistons their best shot at winning.

That said, a 50 loss season, with a top 5 pick; moving Rip for an expiring contract (Jermaine O'Neal) so we can add another front court player in the offseason, might be just what the team needs to fully turn it back around.
