Detroit Science Center hosts "Science Rocks!" with Zoos of Berlin and more

Today the Detroit Science Center announced a fun upcoming event called "Science Rocks!"

On Nov. 19 the museum will host a performance by a handful of local indie-rock bands to remind older kids and adults how cool the Detroit Science Center is.

The evening includes a special showing of the IMAX film "The Alps." Indie-pop group Zoos of Berlin will play live along with the film. After the film there will be live sets by New Grenada, Lightning Love and I, Crime.

Tickets cost $20 ($15 for Science Center members), and include drink tickets. Woodward Avenue Brewers will be on hand with their craft beer. Visit www.detroitsciencecenter.org or call (313) 577-8400 ext. 467 for more information.
