Explore EMU on Saturday

High school and transfer students are invited to Eastern Michigan University's Explore Eastern program from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the EMU Student Center, 900 Oakwood Street, Ypsilanti.

Prospective students can meet with representatives from academic programs, along with housing, dining, career services, leadership and involvement, financial aid and scholarships. Campus tours led by students will leave every 10 to 15 minutes.

All students attending Explore Eastern can apply for admission free of charge, a $20 savings. In a random drawing, one high school senior who enrolls at EMU will receive 12 free credit hours of in-state equivalent tuition for next fall. One transfer student who enrolls will receive six free credit hours of in-state equivalent tuition.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the program. The event and parking are free. Parking is available in the Student Center lot off Oakwood Drive.
